Qualifications

Include:

 

 

 

  • Knowledge of securities and insurance industries
  • Current NASD Series 6 or 7 and 63 Securities Registration
  • Current State of Texas Life & Health Insurance License
  • 1-2 years industry related experience
  • Bilingual- English and Spanish languages
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to quickly learn and market a wide variety of financial products
  • Customer/member focus
  • Ability to listen well, identify member needs, and make recommendations to fulfill needs
  • Capacity to develop sales, coaching, and presentation skills
  • Must possess a drive for results, flexibility, and an entrepreneurial spirit
  • PC skills to include a working knowledge of financial planning software
  • Maintain professional demeanor at all times
  • Ability to be a team player and contribute to team success
  • Professional presence and poise
  • Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid Texas Driver’s License with a good driving record

  • Monday- Friday: 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
  • Evening and Saturday hours as needed

 

Duties Include:

 

 

 

·        Work closely with the Sr. Investment Advisor to offer comprehensive solutions to address the complex investment, retirement and wealth management needs of clients and members of SACU

·        Provide clients with best-in-class investment, retirement wealth advisory, and business services by leveraging analytical capabilities, research, case design, and accessing financial management tools

·        Identify and cultivate long-term relationships with, as well as provide service to, the staff and members of SACU, existing clients, and small businesses

·        Profile member needs by actively listening, reviewing investment goals and developing appropriate recommendations

·        Communicate information about risks, attributes, features, and benefits of investment products and services

·        Serve members at multiple branches as assigned

·        Maintain high levels of financial product sales by meeting or exceeding monthly sales goals

·        Cross-sell credit union products and refer members to the appropriate service provider

·        Participate in SACU-sponsored community activities and employee events and follow leads generated through these activities

·        Build and maintain excellent employee relationships by attending branch trainings, providing coaching, advice, and general information about all products and services

·        Enter information accurately into Outlook and Episys and client records into dataVISION

·        Provide referral reporting and run reports

·        Meet with supervisor weekly to discuss activities

·        Comply with all requirements of CUSO Financial Services, L.P., broker/dealer

·        Participate in OSJ meeting, OSJ administrative and GSG conference calls; Attend webinars and participate in training opportunities

·        Train member-contact employees and educate members;  Provide continuous education and coaching

·        Maintain licenses held and keep current on all required CE credits

·        Attend relevant training sessions held by SACU branches, wholesalers, CFS, GSG and Webinars
