San Antonio Federal Credit Union (SACU) broke ground Friday, January 4, 2008, for a new high-tech branch in Schertz, Texas, to serve the fast-growing northern Bexar and southern Comal counties.

The facility will include state-of-the-art equipment, yet it will be high-touch with personal attention from SACU Trusted Advisors. Members will be able to choose a traditional teller or take advantage of the convenience of the remote teller stations. Scheduled to open in mid-2008, the branch will offer drive-up lanes and a drive-up ATM.

"SACU has made a commitment to make it easier for our members to do business with us. The north-central corridor from San Antonio is attracting many new residents and businesses. SACU wants to serve existing members and attract new members in this area," president and CEO Jeff Farver said. "We offer complete financial services and, as always, the same outstanding service that has made SACU a leader in the credit union industry since 1935."

SACU provides its more than 233,000 members a broad range of both savings and loan opportunities, with competitive rates and excellent service. With 16 branches in San Antonio and a large network of more than 100 ATMs in the San Antonio area, SACU is uniquely positioned to serve this community.

SACU Online Anytime® Internet Banking service provides SACU members virtually 24-hour-a-day, seven-days-per-week access to account information and funds. Convenient Internet bill payment and a free SACU CashAnytime® MasterCard® Debit Card that can be used with any checking account are only two of the benefits of membership.
