SACU is pleased to announce that SACU members and prospective members can now open new accounts online from SACU's Web site, using a secure channel.

In an effort to make it easier for consumers to take advantage of credit union membership, SACU has created a secure, efficient online process. Simply visit sacu.com, click on join now, then membership application. Applicants can open additional relationships with SACU, regardless of where they live. They can apply for services such as ATM and debit cards, PhoneLink® service, and Internet banking. Prospective members can determine membership eligibility, and apply for services and deposit products excluding IRAs. Current members can open services and most deposit products except Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs).

Each applicant receives a status message at the end of the online process. An online member account is finalized when SACU receives the completed signature card and supporting documentation by mail or by delivery to an SACU branch.
