Summary of Professional Experience
As Superintendent of Schools, Ramon Abarca served as educational leader and Chief Executive Office of school districts for ten years. This experience has given him the opportunity to manager the development and to monitor the expenditures of a forty-seven million budget. He also served many years as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Lubbock Teachers Federal Credit Union as well as having served in the capacity of chairman of the supervisory committee. As Superintendent, he also led a strategic planning initiative for a school district.
